With this breath-taking setting and this amazing couple, it was easy to create flowers to highlight the surroundings and the fun and love this couple share! Kaitlin and Sean said “I do” at the Molly Pitcher Inn surrounded by friends and family. As their florist, we wanted to bring the personality of this fun loving couple into their florals. With gray suits and magenta bridesmaid dresses as part of our inspiration, we selected Juliet roses, ranunculus and succulents for our central blooms, but kept every arrangement unique with different, distinctive flowers.
The waterfront at the Molly Pitcher Inn was an inspiring location. The couple’s ceremony took place on the deck behind the Inn, the Navesink River providing picturesque views with sailboats dotting the water. We added florals to an elegant archway, creating a focal point for Kaitlin and Sean to say their vows and have that first kiss as husband and wife. With hydrangea and pink hanging amaranthus, nestled with eucalyptus, roses and hypericum berries, we created arrangements for both the base of the archway as well as at the foot of the aisle. We wanted to create a lush garden effect, while still keeping the focus on the couple and the amazing view at the Molly Pitcher Inn. It was a joy to work with Kaitlin and Sean as well as the team at the Molly Pitcher Inn!
